Preston is married to Ashley Sharpe. They have been married since 2006. They have a dog named Jill. The currently live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma Metro Area.
Preston is the founding and lead pastor of Emmaus Road Church, a missional community in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also serves as an associate pastor at Sanctuary in Jenks, Oklahoma.
Preston was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2006 with a B.A. in Biblical Literature. He then went on to receive a Masters of Christian Ministry from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
Preston and Ashley met in Tulsa at a Bible study that Preston led in high school. Ashley received a Masters degree in Counseling from Oral Roberts University in 2009.
Preston enjoys teaching, discussing and engaging with various topics and communities of faith in the midst of a changing cultural climate.
